Wrong Program Displaying For Your Recommender's Form

Follow

If you're certain your recommender is looking at the correct recommendation request for you (and not a request for a different school or previous application) and they are seeing a different program than you are currently applying to, then this is due to a change in program. Specifically, you made a new program selection in your application after originally sending out your recommendation request.

The program data is set in the recommendation form when the request is originally sent out, and cannot be updated after the fact. Regardless of what the recommendation form lists as your program of choice, it will be attached to your application submission. If there is any discrepancy in the program data, the school will default to the program currently listed in your application form and make the correction on their end. Your recommender can submit this recommendation and be assured that it will be linked to your application form and transmitted to the correct department.

The majority of schools we host recommendations for use the same recommendation form for all of their programs, but if you have any concerns over the incorrect recommendation form being submitted due to the change in program, you are welcome to contact our support team to have them check if the school uses more than one recommendation form.
