Editing a submitted recommendation


If you need to make changes to a submitted recommendation, you can do so only if the applicant has not submitted their final application to their school. If the applicant has submitted their final application, the school has already received the recommendation and changes cannot be made. 

To make changes to a recommendation for applicants that have not yet submitted their final application:

  1. Click on the revise button at the bottom of the recommendation request:
    If you do not see the Revise button, it means the application has been submitted and the recommendation cannot be edited. 
  2. Make your desired edits, then click the Submit button at the bottom of the form.
  3. You will be returned to your dashboard, where you can continue to revise the recommendation until the applicant submits their final application.

If you need to edit a recommendation for an applicant that has submitted their final application, click the Submit a Request button on the top right.
