You need an ApplyWeb account before you can submit an application to a school that uses ApplyWeb. Your account also gives you an Applicant Portal, a status page listing every application you have started or submitted.
Create your account
- Go to applyweb.com/public/account.
- Enter your account information exactly as instructed.
- Click Submit at the bottom of the page.
Keep a record of your username and password. You need them to return to applications in progress and to check your application status.
Start or continue an application
- New application: Go to the school's website and follow its link to apply.
- Application in progress: Use the same link on the school's website, or log in to your Applicant Portal and select the application.
Save your work
You can finish in one sitting or save and come back later, from any device with internet access. Button names vary by application:
- Save keeps your work and leaves you on the page.
- Finish Session or Save and Exit saves your work and exits.
If you complete more than one application, details such as your name and address may fill in automatically. If you change them on one form, they may also change on your other unsubmitted forms.
Submit and pay
- Check your work carefully.
- Click the submit button at the bottom of the last page. Its text may vary by application.
- If your application has a fee, you go to the payment page, where you pay by debit or credit card. You can request a fee waiver there if the school offers one.
- If your application has no fee, clicking submit sends it to the school.
Please note: Your application is not fully submitted until your payment is authorized or your fee waiver is granted. Once payment is authorized, your application is final and you can no longer change it.

Confirm the school received it
Log in to your Applicant Portal to print a copy of your form and see when the school acknowledged receipt.
Your payment and data security
Your card details are encrypted while they travel from your browser to the school's server and during payment authorization. They are not stored in the school's or ApplyWeb's database. Everything you enter is stored under your private username and password. CollegeNET, Inc. hosts ApplyWeb and complies with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
